Mata Ortiz, Juan Quezada Sueños de Barro y Fuego

This work, inspired by a thousand-year-old tradition, shows how clay has been essential in daily life and rituals since ancient times. In Paquimé, a thousand years ago, it was used to create utensils and ceremonial objects. Today, Mata Ortiz ceramics continue this tradition, fusing art and sophistication, and gaining worldwide recognition.
